We are Kerstin and Scott, We are excited to tell you about us, and the love that we have for one another and the desire that we have to expand our family through adoption. We have been together for 12 years and happily married for 10 years. We have had 8 years of unsuccessful fertility treatments and heartbreak. Since we have been married, we have wanted nothing more than to be parents. Combined we have 13 nieces and nephews ranging in all ages. We adore each and every one of them. We spend as much time as we can with them, attending softball, soccer games, dance recitals and play events. We want to be able to share all these events and memories with our own child. Our desire to have children has brought us to the decision to add to our family through adoption.
Scott works for the local government, which he enjoys. His work is very challenging and at the same time rewarding. Scott grew up the youngest of three children; they are very family-oriented. Living in the same area makes it easy for them to spend time with one another. Family events are always on going; from family reunions, vacations, dining out and just spending time together. Kerstin grew up the youngest of nine children, having a lot of brothers and sisters in the house there never seemed to be a dull moment. Our house was always filled with a lot of love, laughs and many wonderful memories. We are a close-knit family with a lot of love for one another. Kerstin works for a local recruiting firm in the Human Resource department. Her position is very challenging as well. Kerstin plans on staying at home once we have a child. We have a very solid marriage based on respect, trust and true love for one another. We have a very strong Christian background and we attend church weekly. We want to instill these values in our children. We enjoy spending time with each other going to movies, long walks with our dog, going on long rides on our motorcycle, and going to different destinations for vacations. Even though we have all the time to spend together it would mean so much more to us to spend that time growing as a family with a child. We live in a rural area in Pennsylvania; we own a home in safe family-oriented neighborhood, that we feel will is ideal for raising children. We share our home with our yellow Labrador, Madison. She is wonderful with all our 13 nieces and nephews. She loves playing with the children. We are truly blessed with each other; excellent health, and we both have very loving families and friends. We want to share our lives, values and love with a little one. We think that being parents is truly a gift; we open our hearts and love to this journey and can't wait for the opportunity to become parents. |
